  • Model IS4021A/IS4033A/IS4027A/IS4028A ATEX Intrinsically Safe (Group II, Category 1G) for European Union
  • N4021/N4033/N4027/N4028 Non-Incendive/Limited Energy (Class I, Div 2 / Classs I, Zone 2) for US and Canada and ATEX Limited Energy (Group II, Category 3G) for European Union

CAUTION: These sensors MUST be installed with an FM Global approved IS barrier. Installations must meet the requirements of intrinsically safe systems for hazardous (classified) locations and must follow details specified in FM Global control drawing 85047.

Model IS4022 Magnetic Speed Sensor Preamp is designed to convert low level sinusoidal signals from Intrinsically Safe magnetic pickups into stable square wave pulses. The digital output allows for longer signal transmission distance.

Model IS4027 Frequency to Current Converter changes the frequency input from any Intrinsically Safe active or passive magnetic speed sensor or Hall effect speed sensor to a proportional 4-20mA output. It has been configured to fit a compact 1/2" & 3/4" NPT "ELBY" explosion proof enclosure. The frequency range is field selectable to fit most applications. Input range is adjustable between 1100 Hz - 10 kHz or 75Hz to 1100 Hz. ZERO and SPAN adjustments easily calibrate to almost any measurement range, with little interaction between the adjustments.

Model IS4028 Frequency to Voltage Converter changes the frequency input from any Intrinsically Safe passive magnetic speed sensor or VR sensor and convert the signal to a proportional 0-10V or 0-5V output. It fits a 1/2" or 3/4" NPT "ELBY" explosion proof enclosure. The frequency range is field selectable to fit most applications. Input range is adjustable between 1100 Hz - 10 kHz or 75Hz to 1100 Hz. ZERO and SPAN adjustments easily calibrate to almost any measurement range, with little interaction between the adjustments.
