CAUTION: These sensors MUST be installed with an FM Global approved IS barrier. Installations must meet the requirements of intrinsically safe systems for hazardous (classified) locations and must follow details specified in FM Global control drawing 85047.

SPECTEC's Intrinsically Safe Hall effect gear position sensors are designed for hazardous location applications with sensors detecting the presence of a ferrous target, such as gear teeth or blade tips. Gear teeth as small as module 0.5" wide or 48DP can be sensed. Standard output is provided from a 2.2kOhm internal pull-down resistor to a collector, which can sink 25 mA. Open collector or source output can be provided. Short circuit and reverse voltage protection is available.

Integrated temperature probe (RTD or NTC) magnetic Hall effect sensors are available.
