Intrinsically Safe Magnetic Hall Effect Sensors are a derivative or our standard magnetic hall effect sensor models and are certified by FM Global to meet requirements of Class I, Zone 0, AEx [ia] IIC, Class I, II, III, Division 1, Group ABCDEFG.
CAUTION: These sensors MUST be installed with an FM Global approved IS barrier. Installations must meet the requirements of intrinsically safe systems for hazardous (classified) locations and must follow details specified in FM Global control drawing 85047.
SPECTEC's Intrinsically Safe magnetic Hall effect sensors are designed to switch in the presence of a low magnetic field. Bi-polar (north and south pole activation) is standard. Uni-polar and Omni-polar magnet activation Hall effect sensors are available for higher pulse resolution. Various output options are provided to suit all interface requirements. A robust universal sink/source NPN/PNP low impedance rail-to-rail output with 60V automotive load dump and short circuit and reverse voltage protection is available.
Integrated temperature probe (RTD or NTC) magnetic Hall effect sensors are available.
Custom magnetic Hall effect speed sensors or OEM replacement speed sensors available.
